Koo Arts is delighted to welcome Helen Priest as our guest artist showcasing her sinister collection of work; ‘Once Upon a Time in Birmingham’ series one. Helen photographs 21st century Birmingham streets and combines vivid period images to evoke a dark portrayal of what these areas could have once held in store. Helen’s ‘Once Upon a Time in Birmingham’ series one collection is limited to 40 A3, A4 and A5 signed and numbered  mounted prints. 

Helen is currently hard at work sourcing locations for ‘Once Upon a Time in Birmingham’ series two, which she anticipates will be ready in spring 2019. We think you will agree that Helens’s work conjures up an emotive depiction of how Birminghams underbelly could have looked in the early part of the 20th Century.
